Every second year, our National Forum brings the community together in person from across Canada, survivors, families, burn-unit staff, and firefighters, all in one room. It's a charitable event that runs on the generosity of supporters, so no survivor is ever turned away by cost.
This year's Forum in Winnipeg is hosted in partnership with the Mamingwey Burn Survivor Society. It isn't run solely by the Canadian Burn Survivors Community, together we're bridging the gap between our national gatherings and bringing the community closer. Registration, tickets, and event details are at mamingweyforum.com.
Meet people who understand your journey, and build friendships that last far beyond the weekend.
Sessions with burn professionals on recovery, wellbeing, and living fully after a burn injury.
Our bi-annual awards honour the survivors, caregivers, and champions of the community.
Travel, hotel, and registration add up fast. Your gift covers those costs so cost never stands between a survivor and their community, any amount helps, and you don’t have to attend to make it possible.
Survivors, families, caregivers, and firefighters from across Canada. This is what a room full of people who understand looks like.
We gather in person every two years. In the years in between, we come together for a virtual Forum so no one has to wait to connect.
Our first virtual Forum was held in 2021, and we hold a virtual Forum in the years between in-person events. (The 2020 Vancouver Forum was cancelled due to COVID-19.)
